Is there a developer's guide available? I don't see anything in the download or online.
Thanks,

The page on this forum where that chm was announced follows:
(http://geckofx.org/viewtopic.php?id=366), which links to the file download site at: (http://www.savefile.com/files/1813183)

Wouldn't it be appropriate for documentation such as this to be prominently posted (e.g. a link at the top of the GeckoFX Home)?

That chm file would not work for me in the (default) windows chm reader, but it would run in firefox using the firefox chm reader addon.
(as an aside)
I've had this kind of odd problem before with the windows (IExplorer based) chm reader, so interestingly, this may provide a perfect example of why embedding gecko instead of IE webControl is a desired thing. In that case, I was using a program that was highly dependent on that CHM reader, basically for reading books. My IExplorer decided to develop all kinds of problems, no problem because I never used it! Accept, for that darn CHM reader! I completely uninstalled and reinstalled IExplorer just so the chm reader would work right again, but the problem wouldn't go away. Perhaps IExplorer is spread out to deep throughout your system (like an octopus' tentacles) to actually cleanly uninstall and freshly reinstall. Nothing against them, but I would rather not have the same problem in my apps.

Since I've created and posted that chm, I've reformatted and changed operating systems several times.
It was made with VSDocMan in Visual Studio 2008 Pro on Windows 2003. I'm now running Windows 7 and just downloaded the chm. It works fine for me.
As for where that chm is posted; any further that where I put it is entirely out of my control. - sorry.

hello,
the download link is not working, would you mind supplying another download link?
thanks a lot
Sorry, no longer have the chm that I had uploaded. I'll see about creating and uploading docs for the newest GeckoFx release sometime today if i get the time - been a little busy lately as I'm writing an app for Windows 7 (Task Se7en).

I've created a compiled help manual for GeckoFx 1.9.1 but, due to size restrictions on attachments I'm unable to upload it here. I've emailed Skybound_Andrew, asking if he would post it for all to download but, have yet to get a response (I *just now* emailed him). Until I get an answer from Andrew.. if anyone is interested in this manual just PM me and I'll email it to you.
EDIT:: I've sent the manual to Andrew. Expect to see it posted soon!

Found the problem - the file needed to be Unblocked (Right click, properties)
